Today, with the rapid development of digital emerging technologies, digital transformation has become the key for enterprises to enhance their competitiveness. Thus, the Bureau of Industrial Park (BIP) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has collaborated with the Institute for Information Industry, a non-profit organization, to plan transformation paths for outstanding manufacturing industry technologies within the park and to assist companies in accessing resources. And they aim to facilitate the digital transformation journey for at least 10 enterprises annually. eAI Technologies Inc. is one such example. The company has developed the “Green Supply Chain Digital Resilience Platform” in the Kaohsiung Software Park, aiding over 600 screw industry businesses in low-carbon transformation and providing an innovative model.
Through this platform, eAI Technologies Inc. directly collects production data from cooperative factories’ machines and integrates and manages the data through cloud technology, significantly reducing the cost burden for small and medium-sized screw industries. At the same time, it also enables real-time presentation of product production processes and carbon emissions. This innovative initiative not only promotes the low-carbon transformation of the screw industry but also injects vitality into the enterprise transformation process, driving sustainable industry development.
The Bureau of Industrial Parks states that with the assistance of the corporate team, eAI Technologies Inc. has successfully obtained subsidies for digital service innovation projects, reducing the burden on enterprises while realizing industrial transformation. Since the company’s establishment in the Kaohsiung Software Park in 2014, eAI Technologies Inc. has seen remarkable growth, with its capital increasing to NT$100 million over 8 years. Chairman Lin Bing-Hui stated that the park has become a landmark industry cluster and hopes to strive collectively with various industries through collective efforts.
The Bureau of Industrial Parks is also actively promoting the development and investment promotion of the Kaohsiung Software Park Phase II, aiming to expand the digital technology industry cluster. BIP hopes to make the 5G AIoT industry a new focus for development, driving another wave of development opportunities for software and digital industries. BIP states that they have cooperated with corporate teams for a long time, committed to assisting incoming enterprises and linking the industry, government, and academia to promote enterprise transformation and upgrade. BIP will provide key assistance for technical, talent, or business expansion demands encountered by enterprises in their operations, aiming to achieve sustainable development goals together.
