Reinforce the following tasks: actively participating in WTO negotiations as well as APEC and OECD activities; strengthening bilateral relations and negotiating FTAs; promoting trade liberalization and facilitation; and selecting key markets to help industries radicated in Taiwan expand their export markets. The BOFT will also draw up concrete measures to add new momentum to Taiwan's foreign trade, upgrade the competitiveness of our exports, and attain the goal of sustainable economic development.

- Environmental Scienc and Technology Parks in Taiwan
ESTPA has recently announced the Resource Recycling and Reuse Act, and the Act states clearly the directions of the environmental policy, in order of priority, are: (1) to avoid or reduce manufacturing wastes, (2) to reuse the disposed-goods, (3) to recycle materials from wastes, (4) to recover energy from wastes, and (5) to dispose of waste safely and properly.
