Bosch, a major automotive technology company, has chosen Taiwan as a procurement partner and will meet with 18 Taiwanese suppliers for the purchase of up to Euro 1 billion in automotive parts, according to the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).
The meetings were initiated through TAITRA's TaiwanTrade website (
http://www.taiwantrade.com.tw), which was set up to offer internationals buyers a dedicated channel for specific procurement requests with Taiwan manufacturers.
Bosch will meet with local technology companies including Taiwan Semiconductor, Foxlink, Advanced Connectek, and Speedtech. The company is looking to purchase forging and casting products, stamping parts, rubber and plastic products and electronics.
