Hongkong's Pure Yoga opened its first yoga center in Taiwan in mid November. The yoga company plans to open six to eight points in Taiwan within the next two years.
Pure Yoga occupies a nine-story building with nearly 1,000 ping (a ping is approximately 36 square meters) of floor space. Located on Taipei's eastside, it is the largest yoga center in Taiwan. The company says that it invests
USD 2 million to open one center.
Pure Group was established in 2001. Its businesses include Pure Yoga, Pure Fitness, Pure Spa and the restaurant RED Bar. Currently the largest yoga and fitness business in Asia, Pure Group plans to invest
USD 60 million in order to open 50 or more yoga centers in eight Asian countries within the next three years.
