For such downstream electronics enterprises as notebook computer and printed circuit board makers, August has always been their peak month for revenues. Revenues at both Asus and Acer rose by over 50% on the year in August. Taiwan giant Hon Hai Precision Industry's revenues grew by 58.2% on the year in August, the highest growth rate among Taiwan's top-five electronics companies.
