New partnerships between Taiwan and Russia science parks to bring technology exchanges

High-tech industry representatives and science park officials from Taiwan recently traveled to Russia, securing cooperative partnerships and technology exchanges between science parks in the two countries.

At the Taiwan-Russia Forum in Moscow, Hsinchu Science Park general secretary Chiang Shih-min signed a letter of intent for biotechnology and information technology exchanges with the Moscow State University Science Park.

At the meeting, a Taichung-based company signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with VNI Instruments, a scientific instruments company. The MOU calls for information exchanges in the production of machine and space materials.

In addition, Dai Chien, Director-General of the Southern Taiwan Science Park Administration, signed an MOU with the Russian Union of Innovative-Technological Centers, which calls for technology and personnel exchanges.
