Broader access for foreign investors to local futures market

Foreign investors will be granted broader access to Taiwan's futures market as the Securities and Futures Commission of the Ministry of Finance has announced the opening of more hedging instruments. In addition to short selling, two new types of transactions were added to expand the list of instruments available to foreigners: buy call options and sell put options.
